Animal train mural for the reception area in a pediatric clinic. This 16' x 4' mural was painted onto cut out mdf to make the mural 3 dimensional. An eighth scale sketch was approved. The drawing was then scaled to full size and marked on the mdf. Shapes were cut out using a jigsaw and sanded smooth. Each piece was painted using latex paints before being glued and screwed together. Each truck with the animals was built as a separate unit and screwed to the wall so that the wheels rested on the chair rail for addirional support.
