Africa mural for a boy's bedroom. The mural is painted in the corner of the room opposite the door so that it forms the focal point when you open the door. And provides a visual link between the window drapes on one wall and the bed against the other. The mural colors were chosen to blend with both the drapes and bed linen for a co-ordinated appearance. For this mural I worked through a designer who knew me so the preparation was a simple 1/4 scale pencil drawing which I scaled to fit. Latex and acrylic.
