Home Office Ceiling Beam Painted in a Scottsdale Home
This fabricated plywood ceiling beam, originally painted white, was faux painted to blend with the veneers of the built-in custom cabinetry. The underside simulates the birds-eye maple. It was necessary to vary the color across the beam to compensate for the different lighting sources including an adjacent skylight plus flourescent uplighting mounted to the top of one of the cabinets
