Multi-colored stenciled ceiling for Great room. A custom home builder wanted to reproduce an 18th century stenciled beam and panel ceiling for a Spanish style home. He commissioned me to design and produce the stencils so his tradespeople could paint the components before they were installed. Working from enlarged color copies from an old book I developed the designs for 10 stencils and supplied them over a period of a month to fit in with their installation schedule. In all the ceiling took 9 weeks to manufacture, paint, install and finish. |
