This fruit painting is one of seven panels designed and painted to fit in the arch between a great room and kitchen of a reproduction Tuscany farmhouse. Each panel was made from plywood formed to fit the curve of the arch, painted with acrylics and finished with an antiquing crackle varnish to provide an aged appearance. Composition was adapted from a painting by Michelangelo di Caravaggio.
